iPad, uPad, we all scream for iPad!

For those of you lucky enough to get your hands on one of these great new toys, can I be your friend?  Actually, we received our iPad today here at ZumoDrive HQ.  I don’t need to tell you how many fingerprints are now covering that beautiful screen.  Of course the first thing we did was install ZumoDrive. *wink wink*  I’m happy to say that the ZumoDrive app for the iPhone works great on the iPad.  So those of you who are already running out of space (probably because you’ve bought so many games and movies) can save a good portion of it by streaming all your music and photos via ZumoDrive.  I won’t lie though, the interface isn’t the prettiest thing due to having to stretch it out on that GIANT screen,  but it’s very usable.  Is ZumoDrive planning on building an app for the iPad?  One that is really pretty and amazing?  You’ll have to wait and see.  *sneaky grin*

Agree with Kevin. Opening docs to edit in other apps and saving them somehow. Also, can the iphone and ipad apps have an option to save photos to the camera roll. I may just be missing it.

Would love to see you get with the GoodReader folks to allow connection to ZumoDrive. They have a pretty neat app that would complement anything you guys do!

Thanks!

Documents should be editable on the iPad. One idea could be using Google Docs to do it - open a document via Google Docs, and when it's done, export it as .doc back to the original computer. It should make it easier on your side.

Hello! Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for the iPad app. We are working on it though! Thanks!

Give me an iPad native UI and fix some of the issues with tagging my music (I have over 18,000 legally-acquired songs stored in my ZumoDrive account but some aren't showing up correctly) and I will be a very happy man.

OK...Here's what we need. A native Zumodrive version for the iPad that: A) has an option to sync all documents locally for offline use, B) Allows us to Open With other apps like iWorks and C) allows us to email edited documents back to our ZumoDrive (perhaps using the filename as the tag to know which file to replace.

Then ZumDrive becomes THE only viable solution for the iPad.

Come on guys, we need you to leap right over DropBox and SugarSync and leave them standing!

Any updated ETA would be great to stop us defecting in an attempt to find a solution to the iPad document problem.
